What it is
OpenCaptive is an open-source captive portal platform that allows organizations to build customized network access experiences. It aims to provide businesses with flexible authentication, branding, and access management capabilities without relying on closed, vendor-locked systems.
Why it was built
My background in networking and systems administration sparked an interest in how users interact with network infrastructure. OpenCaptive explores the intersection between networking, software engineering, and business operations — a natural extension of my MBO background toward building productized software.
